Hi! I am Maruf Hossain, a graduate researcher from SUST, Sylhet. 

Born and raised in Dhaka, the vibrant capital of Bangladesh, my insatiable curiosity for understanding the workings of the world around me defined my childhood. In 2012, fueled by a relentless pursuit of knowledge, I embarked on an extraordinary journey as an undergraduate student in the Department of Physics at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) in Sylhet, a city 250km from my birthplace. The allure of SUST, the country's pioneering science and technology university, beckoned me with its promise of an innovative academic environment. It was there, immersed in the HEQEP project, funded by the World Bank and governed by UGC, that my passion for research took flight. This transformative experience molded me into the person I am today, igniting a lifelong commitment to exploration, discovery, and making a positive impact through scientific inquiry.
